Day 118

Was playing with some filters from our Great Brook Farm hike this weekend.  I like how the painted effect came through on this trail photo. (85mm, ISO100, f/10, 1/80sec)

Day 117

Arc de Triomphe with a true High Dynamic Range photo.  I know its overdone a bit, but I really like the effect on this wonderful piece of architecture.

Day 109

Found a great picture of the Eiffel Tower twinkling (which it does on the hour for a few minutes) and decided to cartoonize it.  Enjoy!  (18mm, ISO-400, 1/5sec, f/3.5)

Day 108

Wide angle photo of most of the car show over the weekend (New England Dustoff 2012) in Seekonk, MA.  What a great turn out for the horrible weather!  (8mm, ISO-100, f/13, 1/30sec)

Wednesday, April 18, 2012

Day 107

Another one of my favorites from New England Dustoff 2012 - paint splatter on the wheels was genius, so different!  (18mm, ISO-250, f/13, 1/40sec)

How to stretch a tire 101.  All I could say was wow when seeing this in person.  (55mm, ISO-400, f/5.6, 1/100sec)

Day 105

Wow, just when I thought I was starting to get my car lower in the VW world, then I see this new VW R20 sitting on the ground.  Amazing car, color and stance.  (30mm, ISO-160, 1/50sec, f/13)

Sunday, April 15, 2012

Day 104

My first VW/Audi Car show while showing the MK6, New England Dustoff 2012.  Rained like crazy but had a great time regardless.  (18mm, ISO-100, 1/25sec, f/13)

Saturday, April 14, 2012

Day 103

Just a sunny day at the Cranberry Bog (Carlisle, MA) and a pile of freshly cut trees:  (18mm, ISO-100, 1/60sec, f/11)

Friday, April 13, 2012

Day 101

Wild Daisies seem to be some of the first signs of spring around my side of town: (55mm, ISO-100, 1/15sec, f/16)

Day 99

Prepping for my first car show in the VW.  For those who are not aware, the plaid reference is for the iconic GTI Plaid and the theme I have going on for the show (not shown in pic):  (85mm, ISO-100, 1/200sec, f/3.2)

Monday, April 9, 2012

Day 98

Was taking some pics for a presentation at work.  For those of you who don't know, this is actually what I do everyday.  (85mm, ISO-400, f/1.8, 1/125sec)

Sunday, April 8, 2012

Day 97

Inside Ladurée in Paris, France.  Most amazing macaroons in the world.  I may have gotten yelled at for taking this picture, but now at least I can remember what they looked like!  (85mm, ISO-100, 1/80sec, f/1.8)

Saturday, April 7, 2012

Day 96

This was quite the chandelier in the Opera House (Palais Garnier) in Paris:  (85mm, ISO-100, 1/30sec, f/1.8)

Friday, April 6, 2012

Day 95

The Arc de Triomphe (Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile) is one of the most famous monuments in Paris.  What an amazing site to see and insane intersection of 12 streets.  Before realizing that you could walk under the road in a tunnel, my wife and I ran across ~8 lanes of craziness, haha.

Thursday, April 5, 2012

Day 94

View from the top of the Eiffel Tower, Paris.  One word after being up there... Wow.  Also pretty sure you can tell time by the tower's shadow.  (8mm, ISO-100, f/11, 1/200sec)

Wednesday, April 4, 2012

Day 90

April Fools!  Look closely, this is not a picture of a black background.  It's a 30 second exposure of the Ireland skyline.  No light pollution out there unlike Boston :-)  (8mm, ISO-800, f/6.3, 30sec)
